  • Transporting lunch and tools to a job site shouldn't be a hassle.  This lunch box design incorporates a traditional cooler with elements of a tool box.

     A workers day may include working on scaffolding or in other locations where the work truck is unavailable. LUNCHBOX has been designed to create a home base away from home. This  allows the user to keep tools, personal items and food separated while combining them in the same system.

    Research included fieldwork, interviews, and experience of taking lunch to a job site.
  • First round of ideation. 
  • Second round of ideation.  Project begins to move toward storage on the outside of the food container.
  • Unique pop out tiedowns allow for items to be strapped to the box.  Optional leather work apron will protect and store tools.
  • This system solves the problem of carrying extra bags for small hand tools and personal items.
