the bushel table was based on the idea of a bushel of stick in your hand. if you were to take that bushel of sticks and cut them down on one side a surface would be created. that surface is the surface of the table, the other side is staggered by the random lengths of sticks which become the legs. translated into a coffee table there are holes in the surface of the table which can be used as an interactive element for various pot shapes which can be placed in different locations on the tables surface.
