ZIP

Zip provides a fresh perspective on a timeless object: the collapsible chair. Inspired by stone arch bridges, Zip is two flexible panels each comprised of twenty five angled 'keystone-like' sections. The two panels are then joined along the edges with a 'c' shaped clamp. When flexed open it creates a rigid seating surface and backrest. Zip folds completely flat when not in use.
