Description
YOMi is an audio toy for visually impaired children to play with sighted children. From this project, I realized design is not only for fun, but also the improtant part of design is improving people's lives and contributing value of their well being. Hope more and more people can involve visually impaired children's lives.

  • YOMi means You and Me are friends forever.

    YOMi is a toy which can provide audio games for visually impaired children and sighted children to play together.They can follow the directions and do the different actions to interact with each other.

    Yomi also can provide light and vibration to children. In order to give them sensory stimulation, let them interact with YOMi and each other. In this way, it will help children enhance their listening skills, fine motor skills and expand their social life.

    YOMi has been selected by IDEA 2012 finalist, and in process for Final Jury now.
