The TwentyThirty system is a contemporary seating design that significantly enhances public and urban experience. This is a new and innovative public seating approach that offers aunique range of social, location, and user benefits. Depending on its configuration, the TwentyThirty systemcan encourage both privacy and interaction.

TwentyThirty developed from an exploration of current urban furniture design and installation on both Australian and International levels. This exploration alsoincluded research into sustainable redevelopment proposals from the City of Sydney Council. Designed specifically for the Sydney Urban Market, TwentyThirty aims to address issues within the public realm; including notions of unattractive street environments, lack of public seating and ‘anti-sociability’.

The geometric form of the design was inspired by Federation Square, Melbourne, adding to the products’ aesthetic, while also giving it an inherent strength. The potential temporary installation applications of this system enhance its unique qualities, making it an obvious standout among other urban furniture products on the market.
