Some fragments of society (partially deaf people /deaf people) are excluded when developing audio products that do not fit their needs. The music must be understood as an experiment on several levels, not only by the amount of decibels. The experience of music can be more universal (and inclusive) and may lead to new types of products.
This project suggests the application of piezoelectric materials that are activated and vibrate at certain points, creating a series of various rhythms that suit the music harmony. This way people will have the opportunity to feel the music (vibration beats), besides it´s physical condition, it´s language, etc. The usual sound output is also part of the solution once it allows people without disabilities to listen and/or fell the music at the same time.
The product aesthetics was made to respond Bang & Olufsen company since it has a great history in sound product development and also because it´s huge bet on innovation and integration of optimized solutions.
