Description
This concept for wrangler is based on assisting people who have been affected by natural disasters, specifically directed at people who have been affected by earthquakes. By allowing them to clear away rubble, debris and other obstacles from communal areas, it will help them to resume back to normal life quicker.

The concept of empowering their survival through a trustworthy, reliable and rugged product to create a more stable lifestyle on which to build on, the wrangler spade will provide a base for the reconstruction of a community. Being a high performance earthy product that can always be depended upon is the essence of the Wrangler Spade.

After the initial clear up from the disaster, the spade can be used for other everyday tasks from gardening to building, never to be rendered useless.

  • The concept behind this is that the functionality of the spade can be crossed over a variety of scenarios including all of the natural disasters that were explored during this project. The Wrangler Spade is 1 of 5 products that have been developed in this way, each with their own specific scenario but all with the same brand essence that is Wranglerness. 

    Below are some adcepts that have been developed for the Wrangler Spade. 
  • The folding parts creates a multi tool, spade, hoe, pick axe and a seed dibber. Also allowing for the spdae to be flat pack.
