Love Shoe

Description
For the Love of Shoe approached us to design their launch product , a beautiful and functional travel case for those Louis Vuitton’s that are held so dear. There was two pieces of criteria for this project, it had to protect the €500+ shoes and it had to look stunning. We spent a long time looking at Christian Louboutin’s, Alexander Mc Queen’s, Jimmy Choo’s and a massive amount of the best shoe designers in the world to really get a look into the world behind the shoe. Armed with all this info and imagery we started sketching. Our initial ideas of traditional designer traveler bags to over the shoulder pouches didn’t really cut with us so we went with a different approach. This brought us to the shoe design, a very organic and functional shape. A number of iterations later and we had it, the client loved the new design and then wanted us to come up with an iconic and simple logo to compliment the product and the company. The only bit of advice was to look at the “I Love NY”, logo. With a very simple and striking design we captured the image the client didn’t even know they wanted, but loved upon seeing. The logo says what the company is about without ever reading a single sentence. We applied it to the case in a visually appealing area and the project was signed off.
