In a historic moment when the book might feel threatened by new technologies, Ginette Caron offered to students thinking about the object-book to add a contemporary appeal.
The idea was to create a "complement" to facilitate the use of object-book that can help with viewing, easy transportation, facilitate its preservation, easy storage and / or facilitate its classification.

Dans un moment historique où le livre pourrait se sentir menacé par les nouvelles technologies, Ginette Caron a proposé aux étudiants une réflexion autour de l’objet-livre afin de lui ajouter un attrait contemporain. L'idée était de créer un “complément” qui facilite l’usage de l’objet-livre et qui puisse faciliter sa lecture, faciliter son transport, faciliter sa conservation, faciliter son rangement et/ou faciliter sa classification.
