With no money available for the bodywork department, me and my fellow designers had to get creative in order to give this TU Delft hydrogen kart a sweet package. I designed and built the body together with Tristan Ozero en Jelle van der Vegt. We developed a new production technique that gave interesting form features. Being recalcitrant Industrial Designers in a quest to add lightness, we trusted our intuition, disregarded a few calculations and went for a single layer of glass fibre.
I also did the 3D modelling of the body in SolidWorks. Ho-Pin Tung took the wheel at the presentation of the kart.
