Semantics
The emotional design of the lamp gives it an incredible look during daytime. The elegant lines of the main pieces send a massage of energy flow. It intrigues, fascinates and lights your room with positive energy. Placed in the center is the light source. It's diffuse light will create good ambient for reading, also it will amplify all of the design features of the lamp. Ultimately the purpose of Helios is not just to illuminate, but to make you feel good whenever around it.

The name
The name Helios represent a Greek god of the Sun. He was allways imagined as a handsome god, with shining aureole of the Sun, and that is what the name stand for and represent.

Manufacturability
The two main pieces are made from flat plywood, cut to the desirable shape. Then they are moulded applying a 90 degree central axis torsion. Two pieces have mirrored moulds. They are then secured to the stand with two bolts each. In between them is a matte glass elipsoid, it is secured with metal ring connecting it the the two main pieces. Read Less
