  • A Dream Bath Experience

    Fata Morgana takes inspiration from mirages in an arid landscape, where free forming mirages and floating phenomenon are evoked. These are abstracted into a dreamy and emotive ambiance that envelops on different levels for an immersive experience. The bath places the user within in a dreamy and illusional state, for a unique dream bath experience.
  • Inspiration from an Arid Landscape

    The design process involves getting into the mood of design. Free forming mirages and floating phenomenon are explored via collages, 2d relief studies and 3d installations before forming up a cohesive bath experience. These experiences are abstracted into conceptual ideas and sketches before translations into 3d cad.
  • Mirage Shower is an integrative unit that provides an immersive shower experience. The elements include an overhead shower, a portable hand shower and body sprayer functions. Lighting and ambiance forms a part of the user experience through dreamy soft lighting or preset mood effects.
  • The design can be contextualized in a luxurious space to be a looker and to be experienced. It is highly suitable to be installed on a long balcony that overlooks the environment.
  • It can also be adapted to rooms that are smaller in scale in regular apartments.
  • The Individual Elements

    The forms of the individual elements are influenced by mirage images and these are intended to evoke much emotional response as when experiencing a real mirage.
  • Customizable Units

    Options for different colours to suit different user preferences. This increases the appeal and marketable aspects of the whole design.

    Mirage Curtains

    Metaphors to how a mirage is free form and envelops a user within. The curtains are of special reflective and translucent quality and offers the benefit of a needed privacy.

    Modularity

    The system enables customisation through the selection of platforms to suit various space requirements. The individual elements are installed on these mirage platforms to form either an open or close bath system.
