Chair Tri

Design of this chair was primarily influenced by the context of it’s manufacture so it’s aimed toward using of solid wood as a most available and affordable material in Croatia.
The analysis of the construction proved that the joint between the backrest and the seat was one of most fragile parts. Thus a shape of a triangle ensures that the rear leg gives a support to the backrest.
This composition of elements is also made with the front leg which reduces a need for a horizontal spindle.
Main elements of the chair are equal bars in dimension of 28 X 28 mm made of beech wood.
The whole assortiment of the chairs consists of a kitchen chair, rocking chair, and a chaise lounge, with different back and seat variations.
