2012 Ford Cargo
Description
The 2012 Ford Cargo is the biggest launch for Ford Trucks in South America in the last 25 years.
I worked as Lead Exterior Designer in this project, being responsible for creation. and development from sketch to production of the product.
The project was a big challenge, due to it's complexity. We had to design basically three variations of the truck:
-a taller "on road" bumper
-a shorter "off-road" bumper for higher approach angle in more severe environments
-short and sleeper cab applications.
These versions share common parts as cabin, hood, fenders, mud flaps but also accomodate individual parts for each application as requested by the truck market.
