  • Philips 4472 is an entry for Philips iron steam generator competition in 2010. Designed for 2015, it is equipped with some technologies such as “self filling” water reservoir and “eco energy reserves”. It generates water out of thin air as well as electricity from its movement. The concept refers to the fish’s gill which extracts oxygen from water. The new concept had to be designed according to the existing soleplate and by considering the feasibility and the usage possible technology.
