Workcentre  - A desk for the library

Problem statement

At the library:

- No place for jacket so people always hang it on the back of the chair. It is easy to fall off.

- No place for bag so people always put the bag on the floor. It is danger if other people stumble on it.

- Electric wire is on the top and very disorder.

- For some study area working surface is

too small.

Design statement

The context of use of this workstation is a library. This workstation can be used by two or four people. It has two working space (desk surface) on each side and the design provide a panel screen. The design combined two desk surfaces with one mainstay, when the user wants to move the workstation they can move “two” desks at a time.
