The RC-1 was born from the desire to create a rain collector that would make a
sustainable activity even more pleasurable. We wanted to improve functionality,
while also designing an object that was graceful and enduring, and would look lovely
in a garden environment. To create the RC-1, we applied a contemporary furniture
design approach to a mundane object that has an innately elegant function; rain
collection.
Made in North America using recyclable materials, shipping flat packed, and
encouraging better habits in everyday living, the HERO-365 RC-1 rain collector
creates an elegantly utilitarian lifestyle for the sustainable modernist.
