A light with a hidden light source.
An energy saving bulb in the base of the lamp sends light through the plexiglass rods.
 
 
Where the plexiglass is clear the light within is bounced back. Where the plexiglass is matt the light will break out.This causes the matt tips of the plexiglass rods to glow.
 
 
The plexiglass rods form half a sphere. At dusk this form is specified by the glowing tips.The rods themselves seem to disappear because of their transparency. Which makes the form even more exiting.
