Cast-iron with halogen or xenon lighting components

Heavy/Light began as an investigation into modelling cloud formations, initially for the purpose of developing a possible roof structure on a private residence. As a hanging light however, the sequence of vaulted arches, each pinching or flattening, reflect a varied light onto the space below defining a carved field of illumination.
