Wood is a wonderful material
G. LAB is a hardwood table expressing the complexity and wonder of wood.
The edges of the original planks are preserved, in order to maintain their natural shape (free-form, or free-edge model).
The wood is processed using very sharp blades mounted on hand planes, instead of the sandpaper normally employed to smoothen its surface. This method ensures maximum grain brightness, whereas sandpaper would make the wood opaque.
All surfaces are waterproofed with natural liquid wax.
