It’s only a concept, it’s not materialized yet.

Short Description:
The idea of my concept is to be the smallest PC ever made. By smallest, I don’t mean in a way of PDA, but in a way of smallest desktop/laptop PC with all additional elements like classic keyboard, mouse, DVD recorder, large screen etc. The design is in a form of sphere. I chose this form because I think that this is the perfect form in nature and gives the effect of powerful attraction to the product (most of the products are in form of cube).
The concept contains following hardware elements: Micro processor (dual core 2), Mini hard drive (250-500GB), 2GB ram, Graphic card, sound card, 2 X 50W speakers, Blue ray recorder, Wireless optical mouse (attached on the sphere), Laser keyboard, LAN card, WLAN card, Modem, Battery and Integrated LCD projector. Additional element is the paper holder, we can use this paper holder in case we don’t have wall in front of us and we can put paper sheet on this holder and project on the paper (use it like a screen).

Size:

The diameter of the product is 160mm.

User Interface:

 The software interface is user friendly. The interface is highly stylized because I think that stylized icons are easier to remember, and that makes the software easier to use.

The idea of the product is to be the basic multimedia center for every home. With this PC we can easy listen to music or watch movies without starting the operating system. We can place audio and video files in special folder for passive usage. This folder can be accessed easy from the status display without starting the system.

Aesthetics:

I think that my design is very attractive and powerful looking. This is because I’ve used the non standard form of sphere, for this kind of product, and very high contrast of colors (black and green). Also I think that the size (dimensions) of the product is making it even more attractive.

 
Technical Aspects:

There are several technical elements that are making this product very advanced: practical implementation of the laser keyboard, advanced projector system with sensor, which detects the lighting in the room, so the projectors lamp is adapted (to save the battery).

Ecology:

The product should be made from aluminum with very small amounts of plastic parts. This should be eco-friendly product.
