"Blown Shapes" is the result of a research on shapes, taking into account two universes of manufacturing : the digital manufacturing and the traditional blowing of the glass. The main idea was to transpose the elements made by digital manufacturing process to the glass blowing workshop. Each piece or "guide" cut numerically were thought to adopt and form the hot glass. The distortions of the glass are naturally harmonious and balanced. These guides' function is to direct the material in the process of the object's creation. The same type of guides used for the manufacturing will become in some cases an integral part of the final piece. In other cases the glass objects will keep only the shape given by the guide.
